Get involved
With so many programmes dedicated to helping people in different
ways, we appreciate all kinds of help, as well as financial support.
Whether you give your time, your skills, collect items like clothing,
blankets and toys, donate paint or stationary, or simply use a CWD
MyVillage card when you shop – your support is greatly appreciated
and will make a difference. So go ahead – get involved!
Donate gifts in kind
Always needed are:
- food items for community kitchens – beans, soya mix, samp, vegetables,
meat, rice – as well as pots, stoves, plates and cutlery;
- items for our creches – toys, books and puzzles, plastic chairs
and tables, sleeping mats, blankets, crayons, paper and other stationery;
- items for our old age homes – furniture, curtains, bed
linen;
- items to maintain our centres – desks, chairs, paint, gardening
tools, seeds.
Volunteer
We appreciate volunteers, especially those who have special skills such as
knowledge of sewing, vegetable gardening, music, art, dancing & sport to
