We sold 1500 boerie rolls!

On Saturday at Catholic Welfare & Development our target was to sell 1000 boerewors rolls (there were some sceptics who thought we may be aiming too high). Not only did we reach our target we exceeded it by 50%.
A big thank you to each and everyone who assisted on Saturday. The first shift started work at Somerset Road at 8 a.m. to get the fires going and the gates were finally locked at 9 p.m. We sold 1500 boerewors rolls countless cans of cool drink bottles of water and cups of tea and coffee. There were drummers dancers and rope skippers in the street and a live band in the courtyard. The Training Room was full of visitors who were watching the German / Argentina match on T.V.
A big thank you to all who contributed to the success of the day some of you worked unreasonably long shifts willingly and without complaint thank you for your commitment.
Thank you for YOUR contribution to our exciting successful and memorable day.
