Shew-Shwe Dove Tea Room

Our Shwe Shwe Dove Tea Room & Craft Shop – which opened last year to raise funds for CWD and give crafters a showcase for their wares – has proved to be a great success. But soon, the shop will also impress visitors to the soccer World Cup – as it’s situated on the Fan Walk to the Greenpoint Stadium.

Fans will be able to browse and buy craft at the shop –

while the tea room will be offering African-inspired food and refreshments. Visitors to this special venue during the soccer World Cup period will be able to watch the games – and even check their e-mail on a free WIFI connection.

Best of all, patrons will be contributing to a non-denominational organisation that has been providing relief to thousands of underprivileged people

in the greater Cape Town area for 40 years.

* Centrally situated at 37A Somerset Road, Greenpoint, Cape Town, the Shwe Shwe Dove Tea Room & Craft Shop is housed in a converted chapel, which was built under one the oldest oak trees in Cape Town.
