Vision

A leading, dynamic organisation, professionally enhancing self-reliant communities

Abafazi Bebonke
[women together] is a group of volunteers – ordinary housewives, businesswomen, students and teachers – with one common purpose: to make life better for their less fortunate neighbours.

Whether it's picking up a paintbrush or spade and getting physically involved in building renovations and gardening projects, or giving of their time and special skills to start an exciting new initiative like the Brand*New Jeans Project, Abafazi Bebonke is proving that women power is awesome!

If you're interested in joining the group, please tel. Alrika on
021 425-2095 or email Alrika.Hefers@cwd.org.za

At the launch of the new women's group last year, Alrika Hefers [left] was delighted by the response from the women of Cape Town, who showed they really care about their less fortunate neighbours.
